According to Hindu Mythology, God Brahma (the creator of universe) believed to have meditated on this place , that’s why it’s called Brahmtal

Trekkers will catch the glimpses of magnificent Himalayan Ranges in this trail Mt. Trishul is very close along with the views of Nanda Ghunti.

This trek also covers Chota Jhandidar and Bada Jhandidar treks. Most of the trail of Roopkund trek can also be seen from this trek, including views of Ali Bugyal, Bedni Bugyal & Junargali.

The best time to undertake the Brahmtal trek is during the winter months from December to March. During this period the entire region takes on a surreal look with the pristine white snow having formed a layer over the ground and even the trees. In addition, to enhance the picturesque beauty of the area, the snow also enhances the adventure level of the trekking trip.Both summers and winters have a different charm there as trails will be totally different and views will change as per absence or presence of Snow .
